Baccarat
The history of the very famous Baccarat crystal factory begins in 1764 when King Louis XV authorized Louis-Joseph de Montmorency-Laval, bishop of Metz, to install glassware in the village of Baccarat in Lorraine.
The factories initially produced glass and began to produce crystal from 1816.
The first Parisian store appeared in 1832, then Baccarat moved to the United States and Japan, and opened several stores around the world.
