Lancel
Well known for its luxury leather goods for a long time, the French company Lancel produced decorative and tableware items in the 1920s and 1930s.
Lancel was founded in Paris in 1876 by the couple Angèle and Alphonse Lancel.
With the rise of cigarettes, the brand began to manufacture articles and accessories for smokers. It was only a little later that Lancel started to go into leather goods, starting with storage bags for smoking accessories.
