HFres & Cie : BOIN Georges and HENRY - a stool

Silversmith : Georges BOIN and the silversmith HENRY.
In 1860 the antique dealer Georges BOIN and the jeweler Emile TABURET joined forces to found the house Boin-Taburet at 3 rue Pasquier in Paris. From 1900 the goldsmith HENRY joined the house and replaced Emile Taburet, the name became “Boin et Henry”.
The hallmark from 1901 to 1931 is “H Fres” a stool. Later, in 1936, the company name changed again to “Henry Frères et Cie”.
